Originally incorporated in 1996, (under a previous owner), Equine International Airfreight (also known as EIAF), was established to provide the industry with a cost effective, quality, international horse airfreight service.
With more than 30 years experience in the international movement of horses, EIAF has developed an in depth knowledge of international quarantine protocols and requirements along with air freight procedures, enabling us to be well positioned to provide the best advice on import/ export transport preparation and delivery for your horses.
Over the years the company has been involved in the international transportation of many breeds and uses of horses including:
- Polo Ponies
- Show Jumpers
- Equestrian, Hunt
- Police Horses
- Circus horses
- Quarter Horses
- Arabian
- and Thoroughbreds, including broodmares, racehorses and stallions and provides transport for both permanent and temporary relocations.
The company has transported horses to and from vast regions of the globe and regularly has services to and from Europe, Asia and New Zealand.
Non standard air freight routes have also be used including such destinations as India, Brunei, China and Myamar.
The company has forged close alliances with airlines with impeccable safety records such as Qantas, Singapore Airlines, Emirates Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Federal Express and KLM for scheduled freight routes and specific charter services.
In early 2014, Mr Cameron Croucher (former CEO of Eliza Park International) and Mr Gerry Harvey (owner of Barramul, Vinery, Westbury studs and Magic Millions Sales company) invested into the business and with consultation from Crispin Bennett worked to develop the company into a world class, equine international airfreight service provider.
